Ponte Vedra 2014

I love that this picture represents four generations on the beach.
When Nancy was in her twenties, Ed had a convention (he loves going to conventions) in Ponte Vedra. She took time off to drive Bubba (who hated driving:) down and they stayed at Ponte Vedra Inn   & Club...and loved it.  Years later, Brent and Nancy rediscovered this jewel, just south of Jacksonville Beach. Now we travel down I-75 to I-10...
...we all walk the same beaches Bubba, Ed, and Nancy did years ago.
It was fun to see Maggie loved on by her Aunt Kate and Big...since they are in Chattanooga, we miss out on some regular time with the Royals, but we make up for it on trips.
Last night, dinner on the roof...
...ribs and corn on the cob.

My two cuties!

 playing in the sand
 best buddies at dinner
 my two beach girls
Car Car is the "fun uncle"! My girls love him so much! Carson will call Maggie sometimes just to "catch up". Katie loved his cowboy hat.
Maggie joined Katie on the towel.
The rain held off until the last few hours of our last day...they enjoyed watching tv in bed though.
Three days never seems long enough, but we loved each minute of it...maybe next year Maggie will go down the slide at the pool.

Katie waving good bye to the beach.

Thanks to Brent and Nancy for the great trip!
