Sunny Sunday

Sunday was "a beautiful day" as Maggie says about nice sunny days (she is into adjectives these days...everything is "a lot", "beautiful", "sooo cute", "never ever", etc).
So we headed down Rivoli to Bryant's House...
...well, the house he is building.
 It's gorgeous!
Maggie had the best time stomping around in the Georgia Red Clay (and there was plenty of it, after all the rain, it was like quick sand).
Jack even let her sit in one of their "tractors".
(not sure what it's called, but I know Holden could tell me:)
She was so cute jumping around in the mud, with baby doll in one hand and burp clothe (for baby) in the other.

After that, we loaded up the picnic basket (my Valentine's gift from Jack) and headed to the park for supper.

Valentine's

Maggie had the best time making and sending out Valentines. She was very detailed at the beginning, by the end, she was just drawing a little line on each one. She put them in envelopes and licked them herself.
Maggie got a head start on the baking.

Oh, Sweet Days!

I have enjoyed settling into a routine (knowing that it can change any day:).
Thankfully, we are sleeping until around 9 am these days.
Maggie loves being the big sister! As soon as she wakes up, she asks me where Katie is. Here she put her baby, Penelope Peapod, beside Katie:)

I'm thankful for Nancy's weekly help! She keeps the girls at least one day a week. Last week, they took Maggie to see Clifford while Jack and I had a special "night out" (El Sombrero and Katie asleep in the carseat with us:).
After unloading & loading the dishwasher, starting the laundry, picking up the house, and getting Katie down for a nap, I try to spend time with Mags. She will sit at the table and color for hours! I enjoy it too. So thankful for her long attention span!
So, Waffles has been getting out recently. When Connie was keeping the girls the other day, our neighbor came over and said Waffles was in his kitchen! We love you Waffles, but you are quite a handful:)

One of the best things about being in Macon...getting to spend time with the GREAT grandparents! We met Ed for lunch at Jenneane's.

The Circus

Last Friday we surprised Maggie...
 ...we gave her two books...
...and took her to the CIRCUS!!!
I forgot how fun the circus is.
Maggie didn't like the cotton candy, but she loved the snow cones.
Her favorite part - the elephants.
 It was a great night!
Oh, and Katie was at Mia and Papa's house:)
