Our Little Drama Queen

These pictures make me laugh so much. Our sweet Maggie is so much fun and so expressive:) She is full of fun and full of drama.
I love these pictures from Kate and Carson's photo booth. It looks like Jack is trying to avoid the paparazzi (that's me:) for Maggie.
I guess we are seeing some of my personality traits coming out in her:)

Cherry Blossom Finale

Saturday morning we took Mags down to the Pink Pancake Breakfast (a tradition started when Jack was a boy:).
Since pink is her favorite color, she obviously loved the pancakes!
 She also rode the "horsey"again.
The rides were free for the morning.
She rode the orange fishes twice and the teacups once.
On the way out, we snapped a few pictures...
...notice Maggie in the bottom flower...
...and a close up of her.
It's been fun to have the festival in town. We will be sad to see it go, but we'll look forward to next year's Pinkest Party on Earth!

Cherry Blossom Festival

This week has been full of pink!
Maggie has learned what a cherry blossom tree is.
It truly is a beautiful thing to drive around Macon and see all of the blossoming trees.
This is right down the road from our house.
Monday we went down to Central City Park.
Maggie and Holden rode the carousal and...
...and ate Italian Ice.

Maggie also rode a real horse!!!
Yesterday we went down to 3rd Street...
...we ate cupcakes, saw the pink poodles, and listened to music.
We hope to enjoy a few more days of this fun Cherry Blossom Festival.

Big Balloons and Kate's BDay!

Happy 30th Birthday, Aunt Kate! We can't wait to celebrate with you this week!
This is Cherry Blossom week in Macon, Georgia.
We went to the famous balloon festival last night...where Mags kept saying "BIIIIG Balloons".
On a side note, she fell out of her bed Friday night/morning...thus the swollen lips and nose and cuts on her face.
She loved everything, except the fire that blew up the hot air balloons.
We will spend this week celebrating Spring and the pink cherry blossoms!!!!

Remember

Spring is here again! There are some memories of Maggie I need to record, before they pass me by...as time seems to do with a 2 1/2 year old!
Maggie is full of life and laughter. She loves to talk. A few favorite sentences:
"I no like it."
"I miss you, mama."
"I sorry."
She loves playing outside. Instead of swinging the bat...she slowly taps the bat to the ball so it will roll off the tee...then she yells, "Yah MaeMae!"
"I not a baby, I a big girl"
"I not a big girl, I a baby" (this is when she wants me to hold her or carry her:)
So the secret is out, Kate and Carson are having TWINS! Maggie thinks Kate is having TWO babies for her to have one and Holden to have one:) She also thinks the babies are coming soon:) We have realized "time" is hard for her to grasp. We told her we were going to Chattanooga on Friday, but we told her on Monday...every night, "Chattanooga tomorrow?"
I think one of my favorite things about her is her relationships. People are so important to her. She always asks who will be somewhere. She will list out people's names 10 or 15 times. On the way to Chattanooga, we heard "Mia, Papa, Holden, Big, Tate, Car Car, daddy, mommy, Mae Mae" about 10 times:)
My prayer for her: the Lord will allow that enjoyment of people to grow into a servant heart for people...that the Lord will make her a channel for His kingdom. She truly is a blessing in our home!

30th Birthdays

This weekend we celebrated Kate and Carson's 30th birthdays!
It was in this old fire house.
Maggie came...
...Holden came...
...Maggie ate cupcakes...
...Holden screamed.
They had a photo booth.
Maggie loved the photo booth. Well, she loved the dress up items in the photo booth:)
It was a late night of dancing...we were all tired this morning!

A couple of videos of Mags and Holden dancing. The shrill scream is Holden! He had the best time!

Our Redneck Girl

So, Jack and Maggie were outside in the garage last night. When I went to find them, this is what I found....
...Maggie in cowboy boots and no pants.
We do live in Georgia, so I guess this is okay until she is a little older. My Canadian family might find this a little odd, but believe me, down here, I've seen worse:)

Overcast Saturday

Saturday was a bit overcast, but we got outside to do some work. Read more about it on my organizing blog - http://snpyles.blogspot.com. There is also a link to the left - Black and White?
It was a lot of fun!
We also had a visit from Aunt Kate and Holden! Wish I had pictures to post, but we just enjoyed sometime with them.

Life...

...these days...
...we are enjoying these not so busy days.
Maggie has enjoyed being at home with all of her animals!
"You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God."
