Watercolor 1

We are at the beach this week. It has been a very relaxing week in the midst of what seems like a storm back home.
We have eaten our fair share of delicious seafood and steaks and plenty of other foods. Here is Mags outside of Red Bar.
Maggie has loved, loved, loved the beach!
 Uncle Car Car and Mags
As much as she loves the ocean, she holds on very tight to whoever has her:)
It has been a special treat to watch Holden and Mags play together. We overheard their conversation the other day as the two of them sat in the sand and played.
Mags: "Holden, what happen to carwash?"
Holden: "Broke! Oh no!"
(Kate took Holden to a car wash and it was broken.)

Mother's Day

Yesterday we had Granny (Brent's mother), Aunt Brenda, Nancy, Brent, my mom, Joseph, Grampy, and Nanny over for a mother's day lunch.
It was a special day. Maggie loved all of the attention. Happy Mother's Day!

Growing Fast

Everything is growing these days...Maggie, me, the baby...
Sweet Maggie has been so patient as I've been sick and laying down most of the day. When I have a few hours of feeling, not so nauseated, we try to get outside.
We turn the water hose on and play in the water. She found these beads in our garage and wears them all the time.
Inside, she has been a huge help in picking up around the house, setting the table all by herself, and entertaining herself. She dressed Tigger in a football helmet and gave him a football. At night we watch the Braves, but she keeps asking, "when we watch football, daddy?"
Some of her regular quotes these days:
"I have some?"
"I have one more?" (repeated several times when she is eating something)
"I cover my eyes and say prayers."
"I nooo go night, night."
"We watch George." (Curious George)
"We play basketball?"
"I hold you" (which means, she wants me to hold her:)
Jack was trying to let me sleep the other morning and I couldn't because they were at the breakfast table and Maggie was telling Jack all about the day before....she talked for probably 5 or 10 min. straight. Also, at night, we lay in bed and listen to her singing herself to sleep - Jesus Loves Me, The Bare Necessities, Winnie the Pooh. She is so sweet and truly a blessing in this time. She says she likes to take care of me when my tummy hurts.
