Veteran's Day (and some photo shoots)

Today we thank all of the men who have served our country through their service in the military!
As we studied the history of Veteran's Day, we learned it was instituted by President Wilson after WWI to remember those who died in the "War to End All Wars". Cease fire was commenced on the 11th Hour of the 11th Day of the 11th Month.
After WWII, President Eisenhower had to changed to a day of remembrance and honor for all the men who have SERVED in the US military.
Because of the great sacrifice they have made, as well as their families, we are able to live in this "Land of the Free!"
This is my favorite picture from today...Maggie is showing Katie how the leaves crumble and Katie is affixed on Maggie's teaching.

A couple of months back, Mary Frances did a photo shoot of the girls...

And Dade Shores of Love Dot Photography took some pictures a month ago...
