Sunny Days

We have a fort in our backyard now...
We are enjoying the spring weather (even though there have been some not so warm days mixed in).
Jack says this is his favorite age...Katie is able to walk and communicate somewhat...she is a bundle of joy.
No boys...Jack will make sure his girls have a love for football...
...Maggie has gotten pretty good at catching the ball.
Katie is just as "particular" as Mags and me. When we do puzzles, she gets frustrated until the piece falls right into place (and won't move on to the next piece until she completes the one she is working on).
We are also thankful to have a beautiful backyard. We loved our house in Columbus (which is under contract...Praise God for His faithfulness), but it did not have a backyard.
We look forward to many sunny afternoons in the shade...
...many soccer balls being kicked around...
 ...many picnics...
 ...and just lots of fun!
Sunny Days means lots of baths...
The second Katie hears the tub water running, she runs (or waddles) to the end of the hall and tries to climb in the tub.
We pulled Maggie's old chair out of the attic...
 ...Katie loves it!

REWIND: to the Cherry Blossom Festival Part 1

Monday: Free Cupcakes from Amanda's Cakery...
...we enjoyed them in 3rd Street Park...
...that morning, Maggie had her nails painted (her first manicure).

 Carriage Ride
I have embraced my life of Pink! Two girls and the Cherry Blossom Festival is when Maggie's favorite color is in full bloom...PINK!!!

Two years ago, Maggie screamed when she saw the Pink Poodles, last year she at least looked at them...this year was a success (not the same for Katie:).
 Doughboy Pizza for Lunch
Jack even dropped by for a minute.
 Oh...free ice cream too!

 Saturday kicked off the fun...

 Pink Pancake Breakfast.

We love the yearly tradition of the Cherry Blossom Festival. It is fun to think Jack celebrated this as a kid. Maggie has enjoyed the year to year traditions...this is a great one!
