Reformation Day and Winnie the Pooh

Today is Reformation Day...
...and we have been studying what Martin Luther did on October 31st...
...and the impact his 95 Theses made on history of both the Church and our world.
This evening Maggie and I waited for Daddy to get home...
...and we went trick-or-treating for the first time...
...on Ridge, Riverdale, Albermarle, and Belvedere.
It was a lot of fun.
We ran into lots of friends.
(David and Lisa Lee's little boy)
Then we made the rounds...
...Ed's House...
...Sallie and Caleb's House...
...Granny's House...
...B trying to keep Maggie awake for our last house...
...Mia and Papa's House!
Maggie was so excited to see them!
It was a great night, and we really enjoyed the time as a family!

“Unless I am convicted by Scripture and plain reason—I do not accept the authority of popes and councils, for they have contradicted each other—my conscience is captive to the Word of God. I cannot and will not recant anything, for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe. God help me. Amen.” Martin Luther, April 17th 1952 before the Diet of Worms

Bzzzzzz

Last night we went to a little Halloween Party at the Liipfert's. This is as close to the hayride as Maggie got.
She was unsure of things at first.

Mags driving Lila Dawn's car.
After she got comfortable, she had so much fun.
Thanks to my mom for the adorable bumble bee costume.
Maggie loved the wand that came with it...she kept saying "Bellba" (which is Cinderella) because of the fairy god-mother.
Granny and Mags
She was worn out by the end of the party.
Thank you Lord for my amazing little family!

Reformation Day is coming!!!!
