4-0

Jack was out of town this weekend. However, football season is in full swing so we went over to Ed's house to watch the games. Ed gave Mags a special ice cream bar.
She really loves watching sports...football and baseball are two words we hear a lot around the house.
Thankfully our teams are doing well....Braves, Tech (we are 4-0!!!), Clemson, etc.
She wore her Air Force cheerleading uniform to support the Falcons...and they won!
We had a great girls weekend and finished it off with lunch at Firehouse with some friends (Caleb and Sallie).

Just Having Fun

Taking a break from the business of life, we thought we'd have some fun...
...Maggie loves Pooh. We are dressing up for Halloween as Pooh and then having a Pooh birthday party...
...hopefully we will get a lot of use out of this!

A Long Week

It seems we couldn't be busier! This past week we welcomed baby William Crawford Moore into the world. Mags and I drove over to meet him on Wednesday, but after the big day, she was exhausted on her way home.
Of course she held on to her crackers as she slept:)
I know she is ready for things to slow down.
While I was in Atlanta with Nancy and Kate, Jack took Maggie to Stratford's homecoming where Madison was on the Homecoming Court.
Working on invitations, showers, weddings, started to get ready for Christmas, trying to get our house decorated....lots, lots, lots going on in the Pyles' House!

Birthdays, Birthdays, and 9/11

As we remember the attack on the Twin Towers, the raid on the Pentagon, and the other terrorist attacks, we stop and enjoy the freedom we can celebrate. We remember with broken hearts those that were lost. We celebrate the heroes that will never be forgotten. We thank the troops defending our nation so we can celebrate days like these...
Auburn is were my brother just started his freshman year and pledged Farmhouse.
We were able to see him at the game.
We were also celebrating Jack's 27th birthday.
It was a great game with a Tiger win!
We also celebrated Lila Dawn's birthday.
Granny is the proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 9 great grandchildren!
Mags playing in the pool and Byron trying to get Lila Dawn in the pool.
Watching the birthday girl blowing out her candle.
Of course, Mags loved the car they had to play with.
Trying to get a group picture:)
We have recently celebrated Brent's birthday on the 3rd, Aunt Nancy's on the 3rd, Jack and Bill Anderson's on the 10th, and my mom's is coming up on the 13th!

The Many Faces of Maggie

This move to Macon has been hard on me. All the changes, all we have going on, I am so thankful God has given me a little "sunshine" to remind me of His great mercy.
Jack is teaching her to brush her teeth and at the end she "shows her teeth" in the mirror to make sure they are clean.
She is testing me in many ways, the terrible twos have started, but, like God loves us despite our sinful nature, I love her so much...I mean look at this face!
Jack calls this the "stare".
My favorite face...what she does when she doesn't like something.

Let It Begin...

Football season has kicked off in our house! Tech had their first game last night...
...as tradition goes, we ate at the Varsity...
...and headed into Bobby Dodd Stadium.
It was a great night.
GOOOO Jackets!
