November 16th

I can't believe it, but Katie has arrived! We went to the Medical Center around 5:00am Friday morning. They checked us in, and she was born at 12:07 pm.

Maggie visiting Katie for the first time...very unsure of her and the situation.
Lots of visitors Friday night! The Stanfords came to see us. We also had lots of family - Grandma and Papa, Bear, Byron, B, Chris Miller from work, sorry if I am forgetting anyone.
Maggie's sweet hand on Katie's head.
The very special surprise came from Columbus...the Addison's!!!
Katie in her going home outfit...we went home 26 hours after delivery!
 On our way home....
Katie has reminded us of God's great mercy and grace. I praise Him for the gift of little Katie. Thank you to everyone who has been supporting us and loving on us through the pregnancy...we look forward to what the Lord has planned for Katie's life!

Birthday Party

Maggie went to two birthday parties this weekend and one baby shower. She wore her knew party dress to each event. Steve-O's 2nd bday party was Friday night. A shower for Katie was on Sunday.
The big party was Saturday afternoon at Lizzy Chipley's house.
Maggie loved driving the pink car they had...she still has a lot of learning to do.
 It was a horse party.
Some of her friends - Lizzy, Caroline, and Sonja.
A real horse showed up and Maggie was one of the first to feed him.
She was really excited and brave about the horse.
 Riding in the wagon...
...Maggie did better as a passenger:)
Later she was able to ride the horse.
 She was a natural!

Waffles Update

Yes, Waffles is still around and doing great! I thought it was hard to capture a picture of a toddler, well, an almost full grown puppy is even more difficult.
I had been training him on the leash and in the back yard, but have been told by the doctor to slow down unless we want the baby to come early.
He is a good dog...just still in his puppy ways:)
He reminds me so much of my childhood dog, Resse.
Sorry for the delay in an update...just glad I finally captured a few good pictures!

Cinderella Party

Yesterday we celebrated Maggie's 3rd birthday (a few weeks early:).
Showing off her outfit and new shirt.
Thank you to camaddisondesigns for the invitations, stickers, signage!

The Royal Ball was a hit. The kids played in the pool of blue balls the whole time!
Jarred and Steph surprised us with a drive from Lake Charles. Uncle Joseph did too:)

 Cinderella made a special appearance.
 Cinderella and Snow White

Thank you to EVERYONE who came! Maggie was somewhat overwhelmed...as you can tell by her face as we sang "Happy Birthday".
 Opening her presents
 Waffles watching from his house.

A special gift from CiCi (Snow White:). These figurines were on her birthday cake one year and she has kept them in her room...now she wants Maggie to have them.
With over sixty people here yesterday, we are beyond thankful for the friends and family God has blessed us with! The Griffins from Louisiana, the Anderson's from Columbus, Joseph from Auburn, others drove in from Lizella and Warner Robins...we had no idea that we were so loved. Thank you each for loving our family so well. Thank you to Kelly for being Cinderella. The Stevenson family is truly a testimony to our family of servant hearted

Cinderella

Yesterday was Reformation day. We spent the past couple of weeks studying some important Reformation facts. And last night we enjoyed some fun trick-or-treating! This year Maggie was Cinderella.
After she woke up from her nap, she was ready and soooo excited to get dressed and transformed into Cinderella.
 The transformation.
She got her wand, looked at me and said, "This is the cutest wand I've ever seen!"
One of our last family photos as a family of 3!

The boys of our trick or treating group...Jack and Mags, Calder and Zoey, and Caleb and baby Lucy.
Trick-or-Treating on Ridge Avenue is an experience. Thank you to everyone who gave out hundreds of dollars of candy to our neighborhood. It was a lot of fun!!!
