Sasse's Wedding

One of Jack's best friends and fraternity brothers, Nathan Sasse, got married this weekend in Birmingham. It was so great to catch up with our friends from Samford.

This is our table at the rehearsal dinner.

Maggie slept through the whole ceremony (at Briarwood Presbyterian) and woke up just in time to party at the reception.
This was the first time she wore a hair bow.

She loved walking around...
...Aunt Steph and Mags...

...she found a window that fascinated her...
...Jack and Maggie...
...Mags and me...

...and she found the dance floor!
Notice her dancing between two of the ring bearers.

Here are some of her moves...
...a smile for the camera...
...swinging her arms...
...laughing at Jack and his friends...
...she loved it!
Oh, her favorite move is the shoulder raise.
The Samford guys with their girls and the bride and groom.
(l to r) Taylor and Katy Clement, Parker and Stephanie, Jack and me, CG and Caitlin, and Jarred and Steph, and front and center...
Nathan and Julie Sasse!
She was carrying a show in one hand and a camera in the other.
The bubbles at the end.

Will's Birthday and a Play Date

Last Monday, March 28th, Will Anderson had his 1 year old birthday party. It was full of fun little things for the kids to do...one was riding in this little red and yellow car. Maggie loved it!
Maggie and the Birthday Boy
Enjoying the party with Cam and Andie
Maggie and Andie love each other sooo much!

Today we had a play date with Andie.
We went to the park...
...where Maggie was dancing while Andie held on to the famous peanut butter "bar".
This picture captures the funny next twenty minutes. They saw these two boys (about their age) come into the play area...they continued to stare and watch them until the boys left. Jack and Luke were not too happy when I told them about it:)
They had a ball together!
Ok...the "bar" was another funny part. Andie has this peanut butter bar she kept putting down on the playground and Maggie would come behind her and carry it for a while, take a few bites, set it down, Andie would pick it up, and this process continued the whole time we were there!
After lunch at Chick-fil-A we came home.
Here they are "loving" on each other...
...playing in the front yard.
I have loved watching them grow up over the past year and a half! I look forward to taking many more pictures of them together!

Boston

So, Jack and I took a trip to Boston this weekend! A getaway for just the two of us and we loved BOSTON!!!
We stayed at the W on Stuart Street.
The view from the 14th Floor was amazing!
The hotel lobby.
Strega in Little Italy was my favorite "atmosphere" meal. It has a lot of Mafia history.
For dessert we went to Mike's Pastry...best cupcake I have ever had!
Fenway POCK.
An unbelievable tour of the historical POCK.
Anyone going to Boston HAS TO take this tour!

Lunch in Harvard at Mr. Bartley's Burgers...Jack's favorite place.
Harvard University...where so many great men of our country have walked!
Paul Revere's grave...1 if by Land, 2 if by Sea
(Jack had to have a history lesson at this famous, historical graveyard)

Another historic stop...
the JFK Museum.
It had great replicas of "Jack's" political career.
Also, the facility had a great open room overlooking the Charles River and...
...the city of Boston.

We went down to Feneuil Hall.
(monument of Samuel Adams)

Our most expensive meal was in Little Italy...
Bricco.
It was a great time for us to get away from the chaos of owning two houses, Jack getting ready to start a new job, moving, etc.:) But we were so glad to see Maggie and give her some presents...

Jack picked out a Fenway Park T-Shirt and I picked out some things from the only Curious George Store in the world (at Harvard Square).
A book and a monkey. She loves George!
We loved our trip, but we are so blessed to come home!
