Reformation Day and Winnie the Pooh

Today is Reformation Day...
...and we have been studying what Martin Luther did on October 31st...
...and the impact his 95 Theses made on history of both the Church and our world.
This evening Maggie and I waited for Daddy to get home...
...and we went trick-or-treating for the first time...
...on Ridge, Riverdale, Albermarle, and Belvedere.
It was a lot of fun.
We ran into lots of friends.
(David and Lisa Lee's little boy)
Then we made the rounds...
...Ed's House...
...Sallie and Caleb's House...
...Granny's House...
...B trying to keep Maggie awake for our last house...
...Mia and Papa's House!
Maggie was so excited to see them!
It was a great night, and we really enjoyed the time as a family!

“Unless I am convicted by Scripture and plain reason—I do not accept the authority of popes and councils, for they have contradicted each other—my conscience is captive to the Word of God. I cannot and will not recant anything, for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe. God help me. Amen.” Martin Luther, April 17th 1952 before the Diet of Worms
